Could PBC become a sanctioning body?

Since Dana white has said he and ari Emmanuel are entering boxing I cant help but think they will work with Al haymon. The question is in what capacity. Then an idea finally hit me. "What if" PBC decides to become a sanctioning body and let UFC promote the events.

PBC is dead man. What they call PBC is just showtime boxing now, the dream died a long time ago.

Exactly. We are basically back to the status quo where all of Haymon's top fighters fight on premium cable. Just like it was pre 2015. If the goal of PBC was a permanent shift to big fights being on regular network tv then it failed miserably. Now the only free cards we get are bull**** like Berto vs Alexander and Ishe Smith vs Tony Harrison. PBC is done.

I can't think of anything worse for boxing than that. They could have their fighters fighting nobodies for world titles. look at the pos boxers Haymon already gets his fighters to become mandatory challengers or fight for a vacant title. Jermall beats two pos middleweights and becomes a mandatory. How many pos fighters has Broner beat for vacant titles? Haymon and White having that much combined power would be bad. Very bad.
