based on how Thurman has behaved as a champ it would've been better for the sport had Danny won. Thurman lost both his balls and is now a punchline joke.

The joke's on the boxing world for trusting Keith to be a consistent unified champ at WW. What did he do though? Claimed injury and hasn't fought since last March. What a dud.

So yeah, it may have been better for the sport if Danny won. There were some close rounds in the fight that could've gone either way and Keith won some convincingly.

Thurman won the fight 8-4 in my opinion. At the very most you can give Garcia 5 rounds but that’s it. It’s just a shame Thurman hasn’t fought since this fight since he was becoming a star. Now he’s just made fun of & bashed due to being so inactive & having excuses to not fight Spence.

Danny should take his loss like a man and stop crying. He was fighting no-hopers for so long that he forgot what it was like to get in there with a top 3 WW. Can't see him beating Thurman, Spence or Crawford. I think he'll edge out Porter in an ugly fight, but then he'll want to milk that title for a while, maybe hit up Salka for a rematch.

Yeah, I thought those 2 should fight each other before getting another crack at Thurman. WBC instead had them supposed to fight Thurman back to back. Happy it turned out the way it did. I just hope Keith comes back from injury soon so we can get Thurman vs Spence.
