Both parties benefit from a deal.
One party has much better options than the other if no deal takes place and their risk reduces if it's delayed.
The other party benefits more pro rata to their current income if the deal happens, has much less attractive alternative options and the longer the delay the greater their risk of an optimum outcome.
So the other party has to compromise and make the deal so attractive that the first party forgoes those options. They need to compromise in order to make the deal happen. That's business.Comment

Maybe all this BS right now is a scam and the fight has already been agreed hence why he's booked Wembley already. Or maybe Hearn is simply gonna wait Wilder out til he accepts the fight on his terms.
Fact is Joshua has options, come April 2019 he could fight Wilder, but he could fight Whyte if he beats Parker. He could fight Miller or anyone else and sell 1 mill plus PPV's.
Personally if he doesn't fight Wilder, I'd like Joshua to fight Ortiz after Povetkin. Would be a good fight, could easily be sold to casuals, if Joshua can't get Wilder he'll get the guy that almost beat him.Comment
