The First Lady is probably the most successful female boxer ever in terms of the number of titles held for the longest time (she's held all 4 major titles for 9 fights and 4 years - with the IBO to boot) and won her first title (the WBA) back in 2009, unified with the WBC a coupla months later and has 23 defenses if I'm counting right. That level of dominance for that length of time is almost unprecedented in any sport yet alone one as demanding as boxing.
Bear in mind that the WBA and WBC only started handing out women's titles in around 2004/5 the WBO in 2009 and the IBF in 2011, so there ain't exactly a lot of history to wade through.

You ain't kidding. Without disrespect to the other ladies she fights more like a good male pro... makes the other girls look lost in there. Sadly at 36 the clock is against her but judging by last night's performance she ain't ready to go just yet.Comment
