I would like to see Munguia fight C-B level comp till he reaches age 23 where his body physically matures now and is on the level of Hurd Charlo physically. I like the kid and I hope he has a good career ahead of him.

Somehow one feels that if he keeps throwing bombs at that rate, Munguia will burn out rather soon.

Still, watching him fight is pure fun.

He needs to work on his boxing IQ and defense. There were times when Liam Smith was more clever than him yesterday.

It's fun to see him just go bombs away but that isn't going to be enough to get him past better opponents.

Smith is nothing more than a decent fighter. So it's not a surprise the big favourite won the fight. But what Smith did do was expose Munguia's limitations and show that the hype he received was nothing but nonsense. When he steps in with an actual good world class fighter he's going to get humiliated.
