Given where Joshua is and how he has in someways transformed the sport over last few years it would be a real step back to take away boxing from olympics; he and boxing and benefited tremendously over the years from olympics in a way a number of other sports (or in some cases , activities..) there will not.Comment

I'd like some clarification here: Other than turning down fifty million dollars ($50,000,000.00) guaranteed, how has AJ transformed the sport (boxing)?Given where Joshua is and how he has in someways transformed the sport over last few years it would be a real step back to take away boxing from olympics; he and boxing and benefited tremendously over the years from olympics in a way a number of other sports (or in some cases , activities..) there will not.Comment

You wilder fanboys really are something.
If you can’t see how many more people are involved in watching the sport, yes in the uk but far beyond too.
Joshua isn’t the only example of olympics bringing in much bigger audiences there are many other boxers tooComment

First of all, I am not a Wilder fanboy, but I do believe that he'll beat AJ if the fight ever happens; however, I do wish that the more traditional/orthodox stylist, AJ, would prevail (In the same sense wanting Joe Louis, Joe Walcott, or Ezzard Charles) to beat Marciano.
Did you say AJ has had more fans in attendance than did: Dempsey and Carpentier sold out a 91,613 seat stadium on July 2, 1921. On September 22, 1927 Gene Tunney vs. Jack Dempsey sold 104,943 at Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois. Max Schmelling vs Neusel 102,000 sold August 26, 1934 Hamburg, Germany. Jack Dempsey v Gene Tunney sold 120,757 at Sesquicentennial Stadium, Philadelphia (September 23, 1926). Julio Cesar Chavez v Greg Haugen sold 132,274 at Estadio Azteca, Mexico City on February 20, 1993. Tony Zale v Billy Pryor sold 135,132 at Juneau Park, Milwaukee on August 16, 1941?Comment

So your not a fanboy but completely ignore the whole thread context to being it to a Joshua wilder debate.First of all, I am not a Wilder fanboy, but I do believe that he'll beat AJ if the fight ever happens; however, I do wish that the more traditional/orthodox stylist, AJ, would prevail (In the same sense wanting Joe Louis, Joe Walcott, or Ezzard Charles) to beat Marciano.

Well let me bring some news for you, wilder has no involvements in this thread.
Joshua only was involved because he was an Olympic champion who brought thousands upon thousands, indact probably millions upon millions of additional fans to the sport.
Any conversation about who would beat who is for another thread.Comment
