doubt so, too small. plus what beat gassiev tonight was activity and constant movement. would love to see ward trying to clinch and out box gassiev with just his left hand. lets not pretend he schooled kovalev in that first fight. he got gifted.

ward lost to kovalev once. Ward is pretty overrated to me.

He just has judges on his side and turns fight into headbutting wrestling matches.

I don't think anyone disagrees with that...

Gassiev had no amateur career and is 24 years old. He's still developing.

One punch landed from Gassiev and coWard gets starched, is this thread for real?

uh no. Everyone disagrees with this. TS is a notorious Ward groupie and a dumb one at that. Instead of honoring two fighters who put up a great show, he's bringing his own bull**** into it and trying to change the conversation. Don't let brainless turds like him derail what was a great day of boxing.

Size and power would be too much for ward, he wouldn't be able to wrestle or use his tactics which allow him to control fights

Ward loses to Usyk, Ward's days as a boxer are done, no going back.

Ward said he retired because his body could not take the hard training he needed to do to perform at his best. Getting older won't change that. He doesn't need money because he is not a big spender and is smart with his money. He is well paid as a fight announcer and he trains and manages boxers as well. He should stay retired. If he comes back at 175 I think Bivol beats him and if he comes back at 200 I think Usyk beats him. If he stays retired his devoted fans like you will have him winning endless fantasy fights over all comers.

I definitely think he would beat Gassiev. Gassiev is slow flat footed with no jab, no head movement. Ward by wide decision.
