Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Liam Smith, At His Best, Will Beat Jaime Munguia

LIAM SMITH is facing the man those on the other side of the Atlantic think could be boxing's next big thing later tonight. But the Liverpool fighter is ready to upset the odds when he meets Mexican Jaime Munguia for the WBO light-middleweight crown in Las Vegas. Smith is a massively underrated fighter and the best to come out of a talented family of four boxing brothers.

Wouldn't mind seeing beefy back up on the mix from a sentimental / nationalist sense.. but I can't see him beating munguia

Time to check the odd for this.

I’ve not even seen this Mexican lad but Beefy’s talent level tops out at around fringe world level so If he’s a Mexican phenomenon he’ll stop Beefy.

Beefy at the highest level just looks solid but far too easy to find and hasn’t got the reducer in his locker.

They’ll probably go to war for 3-4 rounds imo. It’ll probably be a barn burner whilst it lasts

        Beefy warrior!

Is Liam the most accomplished brother so far? They’re all around or just above British level but it’s hard to rank them when they’re not all the same weight

Honestly, I like both cause they’re humble and respect one another. Good luck to both

This fight will tell us more about Munguia than the Ali fight. Can't wait.

"Beefy" will be to brave for his own good in this fight & attempt to slug with Munguia. The first 3 rds will be close but after that Jaime will chop Smith down & wear him out. Ref will stop the fight before 8rds. Munguia by TKO

my prediction , 'beefy' will lose and then claim some setback...illness, cuts, weight, just my prediction, I played 'under 9.5 rounds, -185'
