Luis Ortiz: "Deontay Wilder Would Knock Joshua Out in 3 Rounds!"

... at the HW, strong opponents are able to knock each other out cold in 1,2,3 or whatever rounds... or the ref may prematurely stop the fight as well...

Not to mention if you punch a guy for 50 seconds straight without no resistance and you still can’t get him out of there you should keep your mouth closed
We both know styles make fights and that triangle theories don't apply in boxing. So no, Ortiz saying Wilder would win isn't founded in him not wanting to say Joshua can beat him. What I would say is that Ortiz that any man who gets in the squared circle has earned the right to talk regardless of the fight result.

I said 50 seconds you contest that and say 43+ seconds........ so are we saying 43.2 seconds or 43 + a few more seconds.

I’m not a AJ lover I support him but if I see any flaws in his game against Povetkin my money goes on Wilder vs Joshua. I bet heavy fight night and all I care about is making my so if I bet on Wilder you better believe I will support him fight night. However he is vulnerable and Joshua takes him out. He has powerbut in one hand and he is very athletic but if one has any brains you nullify his strengths. Ortiz done it wonderfully but didn’t have the size the length and the stamina to sustain it
Does Joshua have the skillset to do what Ortiz did? Ortiz is a southpaw remember. He can see the right hand much easier than an orthodox fighter. Also, Ortiz still went down early. Will Joshua's chin hold up?

Further, there will be PPV in the US as well due to the fight being a unification (provided both guys don't lose before then). The PPV in the US is also mainly due to Wilder.

To AJ's credit, the gate in UK is all due to AJ. No debate about that but to get the right amount of PPV, he needs Wilder. That's why he deserves 40%. Then add in the fact that Wilder is the longer reigning champion, the most prestigious belt, that takes Wilder up as well. For the fight in the UK, I can see the total UK and US revenue between $75 - $90 million. Here is my breakdown:

If AJ-Wlad grossed up to $53 million without US PPV and all 4 belts on the line, then adding in another 20 million for US ppv (about 300,000 ppv - conserative by the way) + sponsorship and TV rights globally (say another $10 mil), we are already around $80+ mil. Why then should Wilder receive only $15 mil of the purse?
I respect your opinion because at least you are trying to justify your thoughts. Yes anything between 300 -500 is what we are looking at with US PPV considering Wilder has never been on that platform and we are just speculating. The longer serving Champion or his belt being the WBC doesn’t mean sh#t. You have no commercial partners thinking oh snap Wilder holds the WBC the most prestigious fight let’s invest in him or fight fans flocking to Arenas to watch the Longer serving WBC Champion. You are clutching at straws there and you know it. Plus if Wilder shared your sentiments he would not accept 15 million. To be honest I don’t think he had any intention on signing and I don’t blame him. He is worth more than that but say it as it is. Winkel doesn’t have a big head for nothing

By saying Wilder slaughters AJ in three rounds he is basically saying that he would beat AJ since he lasted almost 10 rounds with Wilder and hurt Wilder.

Aren't their reports emerging that Ortiz is WAY older than the age he disclosed for his licence?

If so, this further erodes Wilder's 'achievement' and marries with his pattern of matchmaking.

At this point the thought of losing terrifies him, so he wants to get paid as if it's his last fight.

                  Very sad for boxing.

Wilder can't even get shot bums out of there early but you think he's going to get the most superior opponent he'll ever face out of there that quick?

                    Moron.

One of the best things about the build up to this fight is all the morons willing to make fools of themselves all the time. It's hilarious when you think about it.
