Is the Breazeale fight confirmed for Wilder?

Seems like it will be officially set soon but not sure why they haven't announced it. Could be one of them have an offer from elsewhere they're considering. Could Hearn try and get DB signed up to try and get control of Wilder's mandatory situation? Or maybe Showtime want to announce a bunch of fights at once but aren't ready yet. Can only guess really.

Will probably be announced next week around the Garcia-Easter fight.

We have to assume he'll be fighting this year,
and he won't be fighting early next year close to the AJ fight.
You have to wonder why they're not announcing his next fight,
so they can promote it early.

They never do. They sign contracts with only 4/5 weeks until the fight so the opponent never has time for a 12 week training camp. It's just how they roll.

Wilder didn't sign despite knowing Hearn's deadline with Povetkin.
Hearn sent the contract, but Wilder had 3 managers to deal with.
And each of them has to have his own input and it took them 12 days to respond.
Anyways, it's water under the bridge now.
You can yap all you want and blame Hearn.
What you should be focusing on are Wilder's options.
He doesn't have a lot, obviously.

Yeah, most of his previous opponents were notified at the last minute.

reminds me of floyd/pac years ago....when they were "talking"...but manny was never serious(at least his management wasnt) and they magically had a clottey fight in cowboy stadium lined up...meanwhile floyd was left with nothing and had to have haymon pull a power move and get berto to back out of his fight with mosley so floyd could fight him
