Former world champion Liam Smith, 26-1-1 with 14 knockouts, fights outside Europe for only the second time in his Vegas debut when he faces Jaime Munguia, 29-0 with 25 knockouts, for the 21-year-old Mexican's World Boxing Organization junior middleweight title on Saturday night at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.

I'd have more confidence in Liam if he wasn't going life and death with the other Liams of the world.

Well Liam, bad news because before Ali all his opponents were Jr Middleweights or Middleweights.

So glad this fight is happening tomorrow so Munguia can just get it over with and move on to a real contender

I wonder if Smith can smother Munguia's punches and make him exert more energy than he is used to. He was throwing every punch with KO intentions against Ali. Theres no way he is as slick and pin point in the pocket as Canelo. But he is also probably a bigger puncher.

Theres a lot of questions with this fight. Ali has been hurt by much smaller men so it's possible he made Munguia look like the monster he is not.

I'm thinking about wagering a small amount on Smith at +700 myself..

I'm super interested in this fight. Liam Smith might not be the most talented, but he's tough and durable.

Munguia is a BIG jr middleweight, won't be surprised if he finishes Liam easier than Canelo

We know what Smith brings. He's a good , tough fighter but not hard to hit, with his high guard and lack of movement.
The question in this fight is Mungia.
His destruction of Ali was impressive but Ali's a natural WW, who got KO'd by the light hitting Vargas.
It's a step up in class for Mungia but he answers the questions with a late KO of Smith.

Would like to see Smith win this! Munguia is very young so if he wins he’s definitely legit
