Yeh what a dummy fighting for 15 million . It must suck
If that dafty had any confidence he would take his career highest payday x 5 to fight the champ
Wilder is a paper champ chump ... it’s about time he stepped up instead of being a begComment

I agree with youAll this **** is FAKE. Anyone really believe Wilder agreed to 15 mil when he stands to make way more in a year? Every single one of these articles, of which boxingscene pushes out 5 per day, is bull****, on both sides. Behind the scenes, Im sure they are working together. haymon and Hearn have worked together many times. All this is just fake "negotiations" through the public to get the public riled up so they will buy the fight. They are trying to create buzz, and killing the sport in the process as per usual the last decade.Comment

Wilder is a ****ing dummy for sticking with his promoters and managers. Look at him he's a knockout machine, WBC champion, great talker, Olympic medallist and in the glamour division of boxing. He's getting paid peanuts compared to what he should be getting.Comment

keep it real
Do you mean step up to Parker? Do you think Parker would see round 3 vs Wilder? AJ looked real good vs Parker....LMAO!!!!Comment

True....tomorrow isnt promised to these jokers. The tables can turn easily.....then Hearn will really have to "work," without the easy lump sums matches generated from his proteges made up commercial appeal....I posted previously about bad contracts for championship fights, particularly fights that for sure are gonna be world events. AJ/Hearn team need to come a lot better in my opinion. If they don't, even though I want to see this fight more than most, we shouldn't see it.
If AJ/Hearn thinks that being champs means they can rob, under-value, disrespect every other fighter in the contract, they are wrong. AJ could be in a car accident tomorrow, and the value tables can turn. Better to be fair and propose reasonable and equitable contracts, especially in premiere fights. No matter how much you brits value or respect Wilder, fighting him is a premiere event on the world stage. The contract needs to reflect it. When you're in control as AJ/Hearn obviously are, the contract you send reflects how serious you are about this fight. If you send a joke, all anyone will do is laugh.
Otherwise, if I were Wilder, this fight would wait some more ...

Yeah man, theyre hoping arthritis sets into Wilder, then he'd turn into their 1st immediate choice if that were possible......aint nothing like "risk free" fight money to pay da bills....They’re just trying to age Wilder. They love fighting who they think are old or inferior...like Wlad, and now world engine head Headvetkin. That’s the UK way of doing things. Avoid guys like GG, Wilder and Rigo and live life lmao. Hopefully Michael Conlan can lead by example and not fall into that syndrome of cowardice.Comment

That's not how you negotiate deals, it's not a counter offer to say "well I offered you $50m a month ago". You need to try to reach a consensus by accepting some of the terms and rejecting others.Wilder and co. offered a $50 million guarantee with upside that was turned down.
From the very beginning, he's also said he'd be willing to accept any lowball offer given to him, provided Mismatchroom accept that offer if he wins, and there is a rematch.
It's funny how people on this site ignore all that. What more can a man do?
There is a rematch if Wilder wins, that's well documented. There's not one if he loses. If that's a real sticking point then they should raise a counteroffer, even if it restates their original position. Given how vocal Finkel has been throughout the negotiations I'm surprised that he hasn't done that.
My hope is that the teams are dealing behind the scenesComment
