The Canelo fight being announced is what really killed the fight in Sept as it would of diminished revenue for Joshua/Wilder. Any attempt to have it in that month now would mean a lower purse for both fighters and that would just see Wilder have another excuse to walk away.

The WBA mandatory was always coming, it was due to be agreed by 6th of June, how many extensions does Wilder want the WBA to give? I'm amazed they extended as much as they did. They delayed agreement of the mandatory for 50 days that's already more than anyone should expect.
I love the way you point to Wilder's "lame excuses" then proceed to repeat Joshua's.

A-side/B-side nonsense don't matter. A championship fight that is gonna draw world attention should be fair and equitable to both fighters - period. The AJ/Hearn nonsense was none of that ... it really is mindless for anyone to insist that a champion fighter should accept any old contract with any kind of blatant unfair and demeaning conditions in it. If a fighter CHOOSES to sign it (for their own reasons) okay, fine ... he signed a bad deal (knowingly by choice). But, if they choose to pass honestly we should all applaud. As fans we should want championship fights to be good deals for the fighters. No fan should be mouthing about a fighters skill, heart, or desire based on said fighter not signing a bullsheet contract. That would be a fan-girl talking. Not a fan, nor an educated adult.

As educated adults, and fight fans, we should want every fighter to get a fair contract, based on the risks and inevitable damage fighters suffer doing their craft.

I'm not anti-AJ or anyone else. But BS is BS. I never remember an opponent of Ali bringing a stinking contract to the public's attention as a complaint. They must have gotten a "reasonable" and decent contract for the time. That's called respecting your opponent, your trade, and ultimately yourself. Particularly in highly anticipated world event types of fights.

BS is BS ... all fans should call it like it is, no matter who you like. Only kids and ignorant people wear blinders when it comes to business (and "root" for their favs regardless) Fight fans want everyone to win and be well in the BUSINESS of the fight.”
Well said bro but as a boxing fan you have to have thick skin also. You Americans are always coming with your illegal low blows. There is only so much lows blows I can take without biting back. However I’m hoping with time they will see the light. I like Americans and I’m here to help them if they need it. Now there is a small matter of blessing your heavyweight Champion with 15 million. He should think about the opportunity rather than what his opponent is making because when he is taking hom 2.5 million facing a dangerous opponent like Ortiz he is over the moon about his pay...... just playing the flat fee is bull#hit, but say that then instead of talking about the venue and date because all of us fans were not at the negioting table yet we knew it was going to be around October and at Cardiff

I love that naive confidence . Your name has been noted. I will see if those gums will be yapping when the fight is made and I ask you to bet

Fight will only get bigger going into 2019 why should he sign a contract that was suppose be for a fight in the fall? Hearn need stop stalling offer a % like he did with Parker.. he agreed to flat fee for fall fight no need to agree to a flat fee for a spring fight in 2019

Joshua running like no other. Joshua fans are so far up his a$$ they can’t see right from wrong. We can all see he avoided this fight, just go about your business now and fight the other chump. No need to make up stories anymore, we know you ran and no excuse will cover that up.
