The two October shows will be better than the first 2 shows. Surely improving content is a sign of progress rather than failure.

Besides, people are talking like he isn't going to sign or announce anyone else. Don't forget he has 14 other cards to fulfill after October, and so at least a dozen more fighters will have to be signed to be able to out on enough shows.

The general consensus everywhere that the US is filled with ******ity is more because a reality TV star with multiple failed businesses and absolutely no integrity was voted into office based purely on his pro-USA, anti-the world rhetoric (which makes your next post incredibly ironic).

Donald Trump represents the US of A and there is not a week gone by where he does not come across like a bumbling idiot... that's something that everybody sees. Naturally that isn't the case for all Americans but the President tends to be a representation of the people and that is the representation the people chose.

First off I’m all for more boxing l, that’s a good thing

Although I’m not a fan of Hearn ( putting it mildly ) I hope DAZN succeeds. But for me it’ll take a huge fight for me to want to watch it on my phone or IPad

But my impression after the first roll out is DAZN is most likely f.ucked and not going to get much traction among US hardcore boxing fans or casuals. Even Hearn who is a used car salesmen and think he can sell sand in the desert appeared to know that he was presenting a polished turd

Their face of the app AJ has allowed Hearn and himself to completely destroy his reputation in North America among most North American boxing fans l. He did sh.it #s on Showtime and I have a hard time believing that most fans will fork over $ to watch him fight now.

The WBSS is great and should attract some hardcore fans to purchase the app

Miller is nothing as far as a draw and probably be responsible for a couple hundred purchases ( I’m assuming family and friends )

Katie Taylor maybe the best boxer since Muhammad Ali but women’s boxing is non existent and she isn’t hot enough to cross over so she won’t be adding sh.it to the equation

Andrade is super talented but fights infrequently and has no buzz hopefully with DAZN that changes and he gets regular fights against top opposition but will his profile grow ? Hearn has done a horrible job with Jacobs who at least had some buzz coming off the GGg fight and beating down Quillen . I’m assuming once Jacobs is free of HBO that Jacobs /Andrade is in the pipeline while a great fight will it translate into buys between 2 good relatively unknown fighters. I personally doubt it

Vargas is legit and I’m a fan and has been involved in some big fights ( Manny , Bradley , Broner ) but always as the B side and has no following. Hearn would have to match him up against quality opponents ( Khan, Brook) but will he do that instead of having them fight each other and miss that potential payday

I’ve always said for DAZN to be a success they need Big A class fighters in big time fights but even that may not be enough , American boxing fans are fickle and even fights among the sports best ( Ward / Kov ) boxing fans have shown they won’t always support it with their wallets

It’ll be a uphill battle and maybe the 2nd wave of signings are all killers and stars but regardless it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out
