Also Roach was a drain on Pacquaio the last several years. Pacquiao clearly had extra motivation for this fight to rub it in Roach/Arum's face.

It's a combination of many factors....but I'd say Lucas being the opponent was the biggest.

Pacquiao has obviously declined into his mid-to-late 30s, Floyd actually got better in his 30s - he went from losing to Castillo as a scrawny slick boxing ****er to being some muscular 154 pounder walking down Canelo. -shrugs-

I think Manny lost once to a guy using IVs and using an IV the night before the fight too. Also, that same guy rejected the fight when Arum demanded that USADA and VADA both test - double testing. Also, that guy gained serious muscle mass for the Oscar fight and beyond. Oh, and that guy also didn't want to turn over his USADA testing documents during discovery in a lawsuit.

That's a tricky statement! By before you mean a much earlier date. They encountered the empty IV when they came to test him before the fight (so after). The IV could act as a masking agent.
So what was Froid trying to hide!
