Every boxer in the HW division is a no name (minus AJ and Wilder). Klitschko has been past his prime for 4 years, his fight prior to AJ was a loss to the Goodyear blimp and he hadn’t boxed for 2 years. While somewhat dangerous he was still well well past his prime. Povetkin was only good when he was juiced up but again not a known boxer. And Parker? Prior to fighting AJ no one had heard of this guy and the fight was a snooze fest. But I’ll go back to he was a no name.

Rankings mean squat in the HW division at present because the division up and down is bad. It’s garbage actually. Here let’s compare the last era...Tyson era.... the names I name everyone knew. In addition each of these would mop up every boxer in this current division minus AJ and Wilder. I’m talking wipe Parker, Whyte, both Furys, Potevkin every damn boxer today that’s HW

        Tyson
        Lewis
        Holyfield
        Golatta
        Botha
        Bruno
        Seldon
        Ruddock
        Tillman
        Bruno
        Biggs
        Berbick
        Bowe
        Moorer

                1) AJ would not and avoided like the plague Ortiz

                2) Ortiz and Vlad are not far from each other in age as Vlad was 42 when he fought AJ

                3) AJ got put on his a$$ by an over the hill boxer.

                4) Vlad dominated the division 4 years ago. When Tyson fought a 38 yo Holmes he too dominated he division WHEN HE WASNT OVER THE HILL but you didn’t see us getting all moisty wet in the panties over the win

                5) BOTH had to come back after getting rattled and both knocked out their respective guys

                6) Sorry I took the Lord AJs name in vain. I know that hurts the slurper audience however facts are facts both AJ and Deontay have fought scrubs and until they face each other that won’t change that fact

                Now no more butthurt
                1) Never happened. Desperate conspiracy theories by Wilder fans.

                2) Ortiz is at least 10 years older than Wlad. Wlad is 42 now, so how could he have been 42 2 years ago? That’s some wilder maths right there.

                3) Wilder was nearly stopped and the doctor wouldn’t let him come out for the 8th round by an over the hill, obese fighter with 30% cardiac functionality

                4) Ortiz has never dominated anything. Never won a title. Never fought for a title before that fight. Beat no one. Never been the best guy in the division.

                5) Agreed.

                6) I hate Wilder more than I like AJ.

Best wins for AJ and Wilder ranked together (top 5) in the minds of rational boxing fans:

                  Klitschko
                  Ortiz
                  Parker
                  Whyte
                  Takam

                  And in the mind of Wilder fans;

                  Ortiz
                  Stiverne
                  Washington
                  Klitschko
                  Molina

And before anyone tries to argue, go read Bread’s article from this week where a Wilder fan tries to claim Washington is a better win than Klitschko....

Ortiz was born March 29, 1979 which makes him 39 years old

Klitschko was born March 25, 1976 which made him 41 when he fought AJ

So no, contrary to the myth that keeps propagating these boards Ortiz is NOT older than Klitschko

If it goes to the judges Whyte will easily win. Hearns will not rest until he makes Whyte vs. Joshua 2 before Wilder.
