Joshua said on iFL yesterday that his date is booked for April so there is plenty of time to come to an agreement with Wilder. Says the deadline is about 13 February as that's the 12 week cutoff point for training.

What's going on right now is a PR campaign from Matchroom. If Wilder doesn't lock the fight in, then what's to stop Fury or Whyte jumping into the April slot for $15m instead?

It's gonna be interesting to see how Wilder moves out of this going forward. He needs a big opponent and a big payday to make a statement and solidify his claim that he's worth more than $15m.
