This is an award given by espn. Now that TR has a contract with espn, it is nothing more than the "TR boxer of the year." Everyone knows that. It is a glorified sham, another way to hype up Bummed, since his choice of opponents always leaves fight fans bummed.

What does anyone expect??? A non-espn fighter to win an espn "award"? Bummed wouldn't need these sham awards if he ever fought anyone decent. But obviously that is asking too much. Last night he was asked who he wants to fight, and he said he doesn't care, he doesn't pick his opponents, whoever Daddy Arum says. lmao.

That is why he is signed with TR. He knows he will never have to fight anyone good. And he can always just blame it on Arum. Bummed is 31 years old, 160 pounds in the ring, and the top name on his resume is either Horn or Postol. Considering that, it is pretty obvious no one else is going to give him an award except for "cherry-picker of the year". But TR is signed with espn and so espn is going to hype up their own fighters. Which is fine, they should just name the award what it really is: "the TR boxer of the year." Which even then, it should go to Loma.
