I guess it's possible, Manny did look pretty good against Lucas and I honestly thought Mayweather looked like crap against McGregor in the early rounds - I know people say he gave rounds away deliberately but I don't know if I buy it, he just looked old and shopworn. He retired for good at the right time, I think.

That said, Floyd's only going to come back if he can make more megabucks, and after so many casuals got burned on May-Pac the first time round, with both guys being even older and more shot it'll be too hard a sell to make anything like the kind of money they did last time. In short, a rematch isn't happening.

Rematch will make 2 million ppv easily, not including the PPV buys outside the US there will be more buys from other countries as well. Easily make a ton of money. They are the 2 most popular athletes in boxing to date. This will still generate a lot of Dollars, but don't expect Floyd to step up. He's spooked. He can't even handle an injured Pac. what more a healthy one. Let him stay retired. He'll be embarrassed again.

Even in Spain, they saw Pac winning. (@ 14:00 mark, BOXING EXPERTS AT THE END OF THE VIDEO ALL FOR PAC)

LET FLOYD RETIRE IN PEACE. HE'S DONE.

Pac might best floyd in rematch but Floyd's retired now. Who cares?
Floyd never fought who people wanted him to without people having to plead and beg him within inch of their life.
Noones got energy for that now

The fight was so embarrassing and for FLOYD that Floyd had to issue a statement addressing that shameful performance.

Here straight from the horses mouth:

Floyd Mayweather: " I owe them for the Pacquiao fight "

ALL THAT RUNNING AND HUGGING WAS A ONE SIDED ENERGY DEFUSING BORE-FEST COURTESY OF FLOYD

The boos in every Floyd Mayweather hug caught in this footage only shows how boxing fans feel in their frustration of what is an example of what not to do in a super fight of this magnitude.

@1:15 - "Keep running Floyd. Keep running. You can do it!"

This Is How Floyd Mayweather Jr Will be Remembered against Manny if he doesn't find his way to man up for a rematch.

Wow you’re actually obsessed. It’s truly pathetic.

This other kid was fast but if he was losing he would fake like he was hurting his hamstring my other friend told me. So When we started racing and I was getting the best of him, the second he grabbed his hamstring, I did as well, and he couldn't say anything without looking ******.

Making excuses after the fact is pretty unsportmanlike IMHo, unless it's glaringly obvious, which it is not.
If I was a boxer and someone made an excuse about an injury post fight, after they made an injury claim I'd claim I had a whole bunch of injuries as well. Floyd isn't real quick witted like that though. The Day after Pacquiao claimed he hurt his shoulder I would have been telling the media I broke my hand in the 3rd round and rocking a cast.
Floyd WAS INDEED injured going into the fight:

Manny was embarrassed the first time and this version has no chance what so ever. He did good to get the KO and get himself another good payday and a few more fights. And he deserves it he's been good to boxing.
