Oh yeah ? Well try this one for size. I subscribed to DAZN, then cancelled 3 weeks later due to the poor quality of their connection and they still charged me for 2 additional months contravening their stated policy. 2 additional months for every subscriber times whatever they attract in the way of customers is a great strategy. I have reported them to the CRTC in Canada. Buyer beware !!!!!!!!!!!Comment

If this was Bezos or Zuckerberg or Musk up there talking about breaking the monopoly of networks and disrupting the way boxers are managed and promoted you’d be a applauding them. Because it’s Hearn you hate him, Hearn isn’t DAZN there’s a huge team of people behind the overall product and it’s actually a good idea.
Right now we have a corrupt system dominated by dinosaur promoters and Al Haymon pulling all the strings in the background.
Step outside of your small minds for a second and think past Wilder, that fight will come and go eventually (btw that negotiation is having problems because it’s old world thinking vs new world, Finkel wants it to be just like it was before and Hearn wants it on DAZN, simple as that).
In 5 years time anyone in the world can live steam a top level fight they choose and pay a reasonable price. Right now if I want to watch boxing on a business trip to Europe I can’t unless I go to the pub (if I can find one with it on). If I go to Asia or Australia is pretty much impossible to see it without a network subscription for a heap of shows I don’t want to see, then I have to pay up $100 to see a fight PPV I order online. It’s ******, it’s a system that only works for the networks. It has to change.Comment

I would have much rather continue working with Showtime or HBO.. These multiple subscriptions to watch boxing is adding up.
HBO = $14.99
Showtime = $9.99
ESPN+ = $4.99
DAZN = $10.99
That's about 40 bucks a month. Maybe I'm not balling like that but seems like it's adding up.Comment
