AJ/Povetkin is cool, but nothing special. WBSS is very good, I've already mentioned that.

But don't just say it has 16 Matchroom shows when a lot of them involve big names against nobodies. FFS, we were going to have Brook vs Cook, and Khan is fighting Vargas next after fighting Le Greco.

Some shows are hit or miss, it depends. When talking about events sometimes the undercard saves it, like Whyte/Chisora.

Entertainment is not related to how big a name you have on the card, as proven by AJ/Parker, GGG/Canelo, Mayweather/Pacquaio etc etc

When will you become fans of the sport, rather than only supporting the "top quality" fights that rarely ever deliver.

Brook vs cook was on the undercard of whyte vs Parker which is a genuine good fight, decent undercard on there if you know about British prospects, joe Joyce vs Nick Webb. It's more a UK aimed card but if you enjoy boxing that shouldn't really matter like a different poster said if we watch American shows we enjoy the aspect of seeing your prospects and different styles. The wbss is going to have some amazing fights. And then it you support your own fighters they're some Olympic prospects and Vargas, Andrade, Miller etc. It's not amazing value but it's definitely decent if you're a boxing fan. It's a blessing that there's another platform for boxing at the end of the day. The sport is thriving.

Sure, but in that case we get the most entertainment on lower level cards like SHO Extreme. End of the day, you still need quality match ups with the top guys. Even though the fights you mentioned didn't deliver, they were high quality match ups with elite fighters. That's all we want. What happens afterwards is not predictable. We can think Spence/Crawford is going to be a great fight, but it could end up being a stinker. And you know what, that's fine. Will suck, but at least we got two of the highest quality operators facing off.

Every other sport we get best vs best, yet in boxing it is fine if the top guys just fight in mismatches right? Gtfo, what kind of terrible logic is that? And all the times those types of fights don't deliver, you get other times they do in Wlad/Klitschko, Brook/Spence, GGG/Jacobs, Jack/Stevenson, LSC/Frampton, Hurd/Lara, Linares/Lomachenko, Dorticos/Gassiev, Usyk/Briedis, etc.

So yeah, sorry if I won't be satisfied with garbage cards and just say to myself, "at least I got to watch 40 boxing shows this year, great!!!!!!!"

And that's all I said. I said it isn't a terrible pricing point, just not a bargain. Don't sell me mediocrity and tell me that is a bargain. $10 bucks a month is fine, and something I will pay for. But then again, I pretty much pay for everything lol. Jacobs/GGG, GGG/Canelo, Mayweather/McGregor, Crawford/Postol, Ward/Kovalev, etc are all PPVs I have purchased the last two years.

Trust me, I'm legitimately happy for guys like Andrade and Betrebiev who are two of my favorites. But you are crazy if you think this is what Hearn had on his mind when he first announced DAZN two months ago. Just didn't have the type of fighters that will make people subscribe to the platform, hence why he BADLY wants Wilder/Joshua on DAZN next year. Like I said last week, that will be a big talking point in the negotiations for the April showdown.

$110 dollars is a damn bargain for that amount of boxing, there is no denying it.
Really depends on what you’re watching. I mean, McDonalds is a bargain but I don’t want that sh**.

I'm definitely going to this event though when is it going on sale?

Only recent cards I can remember from Chicago was Fonfara vs Joe Smith and Fonfara/Cleverly. Hearn would be smart to get some Polish representation on this card, maybe Szpilka or Wawrzyk vs Big Baby.

Oh yeah, now I remember those 2 Szplika/Mike Mollo fights as well, that was a while ago now though.
