Oh yes there is. Don't be too sure about this. Spence is Haymon's future cash cow and he needs a fight with as many big names as he can get. He knows some of the WWs are hesitant in fighting him, so he would gladly do this fight with Mikey.....Who may or may not leave to another network/promoter. That is a guy who could sign with DAZN tomorrow and no one would be surprised. So if he has to get sacrificed by Spence before making the move, then so be it. If Mikey wins and still leaves, then no question that is a big blow to Haymon.

I like both guys a lot and don't want it. Spence won't get proper credit and Mikey will get hurt.

That is almost certainly a really bad idea for Mikey. If he took that fight, though, phew. The *****ing guts that takes.

There is literally no reason for Mikey to skip fights at 135 and 140 for a guaranteed loss. He won't even make that much more. If he fights Lomachenko, Linares, Prograis, and other names, he stands to win those fights and make just as much money. If anything, he should go for Pacquiao if he's looking to cash out.

But Mikey is the guy who is calling Spence, not the other way around. He is the one that wants to make the fight happen. So in reality he should stay at 135 for Lomachenko and guys like that, but he wants to make the jump to 147 and give it a shot against Spence. That's him making the call, not Haymon or Spence demanding it.

Does anyone else believe Mikey deserves a 50/50 even split with both Spence or Loma?

None of them are stars or brings in revenue like that. All deserve 50/50 among each other.
