Kickboxing and ju jitsu as a hobby?

Found a decent gym where we would work 3 hours a day 5-8pm. I'm very athletic and would like to see where this could go but I'm not sure just winging it would be worth it, is it smart to just be "casual"?

Just tap if something hurts in jiu jitsu. No need to get injured trying to be a tough guy!

Depends what you want to get out of it??
Being "worth it" can be construed in many different ways.

Would I be risking too much for something that is only a possibility?

If you go in thinking you might get hurt maybe it's not for you.
                Gotta have confidence bro.
                You seem very timid.
