with opponents like crawford spents thurman garcia porter on the horizon pacquiao calls out a lightweight and a small lightweight at that pacquiao found out when he took on jeff horn that he can't handle a real 147 pound fighter that's why he fought Lucas Matthysse easy win against a smaller shot fighter pacquiao's best option? retirement !

That is complete bull****. I seem to remember Rigo demanding 124 and a rehydration clause because he apparently wasn't brave enough to move up just 4 whole pounds.

What exactly is his weight class at this point? He already has done a fair amount of jumping.

I'm not buying that. This fight could mean too much for his career. If they don't take it, it's out of concern. That's the only logical conclusion.

I think Pacquiao can make 140 lbs safely.

But 135 would be too much, especially at his age.

He has moved up 2 weight classes in 12 pro fights. If Manny is so desperate to fight him then it will happen at 135 where Lomachenko is a reigning champion. Personally I think Manny should fight someone relevant in his own weight class or retire. He was calling out Lomachenko when Loma was still at 130, it's pathetic.

I get we all like fights but Klimas has a job to do and posters need to stop getting so upset with how these teams maneuver fighters.

It's how the game works now.
I've seen guys like Manny, Floyd, and Oscar climb mountains to get to the top of the game. Fighting guys much bigger than them. Moving up and taking on guys is a part of the game to get the crown.

If they pass this up, I understand. But it's also something that will leave a bad taste in my mouth. I'd expect more from him at 30 years old. This is a fight that could change his life.
