Are trainers too soft these days ?

I think this is a problem these days when boxers can hire and fire new trainers anytime they want.
Joel Diaz working in Mathysse's corner showed how soft trainers are these days.
His boxer took a freaking knee . That after not gutting out an uppercut two rounds earlier.
I must be getting old but back in the days, your trainer slaps you for doing that sh8.
You certainly don't get a sympathy card for doing that crap.
I remember Joe Goosen calling Gabriel Ruelas mthrfkkr for showing pain when he was hit in the body by Azumah.
And wtf was Joel Diaz doing in asking for Pac's autograph before the fight during referee's instructions? He brought a guitar to have Pac sign it.
