Realistically at Pac's farewell tour. Yeah Thurman, Broner, Khan are on the top of my list.

Top Stank can make PAC VS CRAWFORD quickly at the drop of a pen. Let's see if ARUM makes it happen.

Horn looked very bad against Crawford ... and everyone but Horn knows that Pac won that fight ... well if in Australia they give him 50 million because I could think about it ... but why to avenge an unfair defeat? Better Thurman, there he will seal his legacy for, win or lose ...!

There's a lot of money coming from multiple sources in boxing. Making matters worse, it all comes at varying times. So it's tough to pin down.

I think you should do some homework on fighter advances. I think the "tax" issues will make more sense to you then.
I still do not understand how one guy can owe taxes if he makes more than what the taxes are.

Is there a legal way for them to defend themselves from their promoters, who seem to be the ones always stealing from them?

I hate to tell you but 90% of the time these guys have taken big advances from their promoters before the fight ever happens.

So a lot of the time they're fighting out of a financial hole. Sad to say but they usually owe their promoters a lot of money. Not exactly an illegal arrangement.

If a guy gives you 100k to live, he has a right to be repaid for that money.

            It's a very dark business.

Exactly. Bob Arum has gone on record in interviews saying that during Pacquiao's prime, Pac was calling him asking for advances on his next fight's purse because he had lost a lot of money ******** and was now broke. Happened multiple times.

Manny has, time and time again, chased the short, easy money and has only himself to blame for that. He should have left Arum and done his own thing a decade ago, just like Oscar and Mayweather, and Cotto did.

Whatever.... Go read Dan Rafeals chats from a couple of weeks ago. This conversation was brought up.

This fight was promoted by Pac and $$$ deadlines were missed multiple times. Enough that it didnt get a network until recently and Matty had to wait.

You need to wake up buddy. Manny is still fighting because he needs money. That's the only reason.
