Lacy's beating was a dark day for America. The pain. The hurt. Their boy took one hell of a beating. Such is the anguish, they blank the name Calzaghe out of their head. When asked about that night, they reply: "who is this, Calzaghe" and "what fight?". By denying the fight ever took place, it makes America feel better.
That's the problem. Only the Limeys and morons looked at it as an America vs Britain thing. Any true fight fan who loves the sweet science looked at it differently. All the people who hyped it up as a battle of nations are the people who are dumb anyway.
