He has some skills, but probably a couple of years away from the top dogs. He needs to work on keeping his hands up, elite lightweights will take advantage of that.

This guy fought a tomato can. A cherry pick. Silva fought bums for the most part of his career. The numbers look good on paper (25-1-0) , but take a closer look and you will see why. What was up with the jumping and throwing punches at mid air? That's not even boxing. Lets be clear here, Silva wouldn't even throw punches and was just standing around looking like a human punching bag. Silva came into this fight already paid knowing he had to lose by not fighting back. All Lopez did most of the fight was use his jab. Loma and Mikey would walk through those punches and bust Lopez's ass. If there's one thing Lopez can't handle is being pressured. You guys thought you saw a great fight. This was a circus act. I can't take Lopez serious as a fighter with his corny ass fortnite dances. I would have ****ed that shaped lemon head and broke his nose, except it's already been broken

He is accurate and hits hard but has no defense which you can see by his flattened nose and he is slower than guys 4 divisions up. Unfortunately for him he is a few fights away from a stoppage loss because once his huge defensive holes are penetrated - that flattened nose he has is going to be busted and bloodied and his corner or the ref will stop it when he complains of not being able to breath. You cant have zero defense and a completely flatted nose and expect to go far.

You couldn't have said it any better. He do leave himself open too much. Until that chin gets tested, we'll see how tough he really is. Silva was just a stepping stone to see how well he does as a prospect. If Top Rank gives this kid a shot at a world title by next year, he'll be another eric lubin and forgotten
