All the fight that oscar lose are all very competetive except against pac where he was dominated in every second by a smaller pac.

I think in past Dlh didn't give Pac his due as he was embarrassed how easy Pac best him. Of course Dlh would like to say he wasn't at his best because believe it or not Dlh does care about his own legacy and Pac would have shattered it.

they always do that. the wont give pac a chance at all then when pac beat up his opponent they come back and accuse him of being on peds, or that his opponent is old, drained, etc.

de la huya was also the same size as tito. Pac is a little guy and if you don't think tito was an elite counter puncher then you don't know boxing. It would go like Canelo vs khan. All it'd take is 1 punch and pac would be out cold.

Oscar's team knew he was in trouble, not only because of the weight, but his problem with southpaws. BOTH Victor Ortiz and Edwin Valero beat the crap out of DLH in sparring. Valero was arguably smaller than Pac and was sent home early because he was too rough on DLH. There was an article on boxing scene that told about it back in 2009. I can find it if anyone is interested.

Roach said the day before the fight Oscar couldn't even complete running one lap before having to stop, and looked like a ghost. He didn't report the illegal IV Oscar took because he knew it wouldn't matter.

Yes, Manny won and stopped DLH, but it wasn't as big of an accomplishment as Pac fans think. DLH only rehydrated up to 147 fight night after weighing in at 145. Pac was actually the heavier guy in the ring on fight night.

The fight I always wanted to see was Pac vs Valero. They were at the same weight for a while but for some reason they never gave Valero the shot.

You're probably right dlh was ashamed that a smaller pac could do what other great bigger boxer he face couldn't do to him but as time pass by he accepted it gave pac his due.

Valero, a 130 lber, or Victor Ortiz would have been a much better fight for Pac on that night.

By Brent Matteo Alderson - After Oscar De La Hoya was dominated, and eventually stopped in eight rounds by Manny Pacquiao on December 6 - a mountain of rumors began to circulate all over the boxing world. Rumors that Oscar overtrained to make the welterweight limit, rumors that he was beaten up by sparring partners Victor Ortiz and Edwin Valero, and rumors that he came to ring with absolutely no plan of attack. BoxingScene.com sat down with De La Hoya’s conditioning coach, Robert Garcia, to discuss all of the rumors, what exactly went wrong in De La Hoya’s fight with Pacquiao and whether or not De La Hoya has anything left in the tank. Garcia has been with De La Hoya since 2001.
