Verdejo Pendejo you are not Cotto

You need a trainer who specializes in defense to protect your chin

He needs to train out here in the southwest. I don't think his chin is really the problem, he cant handle pressure and that confidence comes from sparring. Any gym here in Ca is filled with Mexicans that are going to try to knock your block off, practice or not. Verdejo needs that confidence that kinda sparring brings.

Well Cotto was the one who "taught" Miguel Cotto to be the aggresive fighter he was, specially when he used to fight at 140. We will know, in his next fight, if Cotto was the real trainer or not. He needs to be a little more like Miguel when he was at 140.

His problem is he is not like Trinidad or Cotto.

He's not the next in line, that's his problem. He's just another one that bit the dust.

I'm on to other prospects of PR, this guy is not the one.

Its just 1 loss T. I agree he isn't Cotto or Trinidad and he should try to be him, hes Felix Verdejo. He has skill and hes a tough guy, he just needs to apply it.
