It's his way of showing the negotiations are starting over from scratch.

AJ does likely make 4-5x what Wilder makes. He's the clear A-side. But a flat fee is still unheard of in a fight of this magnitude. GGG's filed purse was 1 million for his last fight, but he's still getting 45% against Canelo.

GGG vs. anybody other than Canelo would flop on PPV. Canelo vs. anybody other than GGG would sell a few hundred thousand on PPV. But together, they'll likely sell 1.5 million. That's just how boxing works sometimes. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Parker was given 33% even though he brings far less to the table than Deontay. 38% for Deontay to come to the UK would be very reasonable.

By Hearn's publicly claimed calculations, his 15 million offer is 37.5% for Wilder. If he actually offered Wilder 37.5% instead of 15 million, Wilder might actually take the fight.

But Hearn knows he is lying about what the fight is worth and that 15 million would turn out to be far less than 37.5%. If Hearn was telling the truth about what the fight was worth, he would just give the percentage instead of the flat fee.
Try and spin it how you like but the fact is 15million is big money

That’s more than Parker had even with his percentage

Wilder doesn’t want it and saying 50/50 or no fight shows that .. can’t really say anymore than that

Believe what you want . End of

            Yes.

We know that Parker was outskilled by Joshua but he may be able to hang with Wilder who isn't as skilled technically as AJ. Parker's never been wobbled so there's no guarantee Wilder can take him out.

Whyte appears to have improved massively since the AJ fight. If he beats Parker he cements his place as #3 in the division.

Tyson Fury, despite being moved slowly, I think is a 12 week camp from being ready to fight either guy right now and we know he has more skill than both Joshua and Wilder.

Anthony Joshua is like Bovril and black pudding. They love it in the UK, but the rest of the world thinks they're nuts. Of course British fans defend & support Joshua's diva-like elitist personality. These are the same people who idolize the 'royal family'. People who believe they are superior do not negotiate in good faith with the 'peasants'. They believe Joshua deserves all the money, and as for Wilder, 'let him eat cake'.

It’s so clear that it’s Hearn & Joshua that don’t want this fight. I agree with Hearn on one thing though that Wilder doesn’t deserve 50/50. Wilder should get much more than just a flat fee. 35-40% of the money is a very reasonable offer. I think when Hearn is put into a corner to make the fight he’ll give Wilder much more than a flat fee but who knows. This feels like a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao situation all over & it’s so annoying. One of them will probably eventually lose before the fight happens & the fight won’t mean as much.

He's uneducated but he's not ****** enough to genuinely insist on 50/50.

You have to start somewhere; Wilder's not getting 50% and Hearn isn't getting the fight for a $15m flat fee.

If the Wilder fight doesn't happen, Eddie Hearn has already made it clear that he's going to try and sell the British public on the Povetkin fight and a Whyte rematch as being worth the money at Wembley, lol.

Wilder gets a percentage, and about 40%-45% is fair
