If Hearn wants the fight on DAZN, his going to have to invest money. Letting Saunders win the purse bid means they control who shows the fights. They could easily say screw u Hearn and sell it to ESPN, HBO or Showtime.

Warren has already said Saunders is not fighting Degale.

Good move for Andrade but I'm not sure how much it will move the needle for him yet.

We all saw this one coming.

Why would Arum waste money on that fight when he doesn't have a middleweight to match with either fighter? Why would HBO or Showtime waste money on the fight when Andrade has an exclusive deal with DAZN? HBO isn't spending any money on boxers outside the ones they currently have. They're barely spending money on those fighters

Yeah...sign up to fight on a platform with limited visibility, thereby further limiting fans' access to your fights.

Super smart for someone who is relatively unknown to go on an unknown platform.

Smart move? Only if you want to disappear into obscurity...or Bolivian, to borrow a phrase...

This is where the DAZN money changes things. Warren has to bid on the fight from a business perspective, how many tickets he can sell, how much will BT Sport put in. Those concerns don't affect Hearn as much, he just has to provide loaded cards, thatll pull in subscribers, doesn't matter if his guys getting the lower percentage.

But damn, he's gotta do something. Better to fight on a small platform than not fight at all.

I hope this doesn't derail Saunders vs. Andrade! Andrade needs a title fight NOW! I don't think he can afford to turn down this opportunity! Saunders vs. Andrade! Make It Happen!

Arum and ESPN will surely buy it. They have been trying to pick up fights to fill dates no matter the promoter. ESPN is trying to get Whyte/Parker on ESPN

True, but he isn't even building him in the US. Even I forgot he had Murata. If Arum is gonna show the fight it'd be for Murata fighting the winner next. The winner of BJS/Andrade is looking to unify with Canelo/GGG, Jacobs/Sergiy next.
