Comments Thread For: Jaime Munguia: It Will Be Difficult For Smith To Go The Distance

WBO junior middleweight Jaime Munguia is really pumped to make a statement in his upcoming defense against mandatory challenger Liam Smith of UK. Munguia, who captured the title on May 12 with a four round destruction of Sadam Ali, will collide with Smith at The Joint of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Munguia has a seriously bright future. He'll be the new JCC in four years time.

Sincerely hope Smith get steamrolled in this one. Why? Because it's his punk ass fault that Mungia's become a threat in the division.

Had he not fallen ill and fought Ali as scheduled, the Mexican Drago wouldn't be a factor right now.

FYI, I like Mungia...hopefully he becomes the gift that keeps on giving...the same way Ortiz gave us Maidana.

Smith is gonna get beat up, not holding my breath for any unifications unless it goes to a purse bid thru mandatories!

Lara beats him as well and possibly Castano. He's a top five Jr. Middleweight most likely. We'll see...

Ali vs Mungia was a huge mismatch, especially size wise. Moving up in weight and running into Mungia without having much time to adjust. Regardless, he is a good addition to the JMW division. Hopefully, we get to see him mix it up with the lions. Good time to be a boxing fan.
