Or he could just offer a percentage of the purse. No one in boxing thinks this flat fee is a good deal. I guess he'll keep the Wilder flame going to drum up interest in the Povetkin fight or to protect against a planned Parker/Whyte rematch. Hearn wouldn't advice one of his guys to take a deal like this for a fight 9 months away.

Hearn is da only one looking like an idiot. Talking about a contract that's not even signed but yet blaming Wilder for not moving on it. I think he wants to point da finger at someone when it all blows up on his face! Let's jus get this fight settled, i see a trilogy in da future.Comment

Hearn had AJ refuse fifty million guaranteed. Hearn has been impossible throughout this process, and he won't change, so why should Wilder not demand a percentage equal to AJ's. The sooner Hearn understands that Wilder is finished with his (Hearn's) silly games, the sooner the fight will be made.Comment

Which means if he struggles or is worse than AJ he should get less, right?Comment

Not necessarily but if I was Wilder and that happened then I'd probably take the $15 million. It's a calculated risk on Wilder's part and if he (God forbid) lost to Breazeale then he probably would have to settle for even less.Last edited by OldTerry; 07-11-2018, 11:09 AM.Comment

i hope they both lose their next fight so then we can see the heavy weights fight each other... to much he said she said BS... i remember when fighter fought to prove they were the best....
Larry Holmes fought a no name Gerry Cooney and gave him a 50/50 split and went ahead and proved his greatness against Cooney...now it more talking than fighting...idgaf what you make just fight alreadyComment

AJ Vs DW really should be on neutral ground. Joshua's had the back yard advantage far too often. "Real champions travel"!Comment
