Are you trying to say the standards are low for top 10?

They're both underachievers, relative to hype
No he wouldn't. There is a certain level of thinking and strategizing you have to do in the ring. Broner can't think fast enough in the ring to keep up with the top guys. When confronted with a problem, he has very very rarely shown any ability to make the strategic adjustments in the ring that are needed for him to win.

He has guts, speed, a little power, and athleticism. That gets you about half the way there. If you don't have the intelligence to do things like actually set up traps and think your way through a fight, you will lose to everyone who is actually capable of doing so.

No amount of hard work will change that for him. Some people are artistic, some people are not artistic. He will never be good at the kind of mental art he needs to do in the ring.

The great fights specialize in this. Bernard Hopkins, Andre Ward, Floyd Mayweather, Lomachenko, Mikey Garcia.

Hopkins and Ward are prime examples of how little those physical gifts really matter because neither of them are particularly remarkable athletically compared to their peers, but intellectually they could solve you in the ring.

Obviously, Schaefer is just doing a PR move fluffing up his fighter. But Mikey is a very solid fighter. Very patient and accurate with his attack, always in shape, good toolbox of skills he can work with throughout the fight. I have some hesitation saying he'd beat Spence, but he gets praise for being willing to take on the boogyman. As for Loma, there's another boogyman for him to deal with. And IMO, he has a better chance against those two than practically any other fighter out there with maybe a couple exceptions. Looking forward to see how he looks vs Easter. Not his toughest opponent ever, but still the height and reach advantage Easter has will be a challenge for him to overcome.

I called that fight about a couple of weeks back when Spence came out talking about Mikey and everybody said it wouldnt happen. Hopefully it will happen I think Mikey can take Spence in that fight. Hes smarter than Spence in the ring and can make adjustments during fights and we havent seen that from Spence.

Garcia is only getting started dude. It isnt fair to compare him to a loser like Broner just yet.
