it's only about "sales"... I don't believe in this myth of being in other people's head... I don't believe that it really works with guys involved in combat sports...

So what you're saying nothing that is said before a fight ever has any effect on a boxer? That's totally ridiculous. Ask any successful pro boxer and they will tell you the sport is mostly mental. Some boxers can tune the trash talk out and stay calm and focused but it definitely has an impact in many cases. Ali ridiculed and belittled his opponents in the build up to a fight and that indeed gave him a mental edge in some huge match ups. George Foreman in particular has stated on many occasions that Ali irritated him so much in the lead up to their fight that all he could think about was taking off his head and thus played right into Ali's strategy.
Tyson Fury did the same thing (in his own style) to Klitschko, Tony Bellew did it to David Haye (even if Haye was already shot), Mayweather did it to numerous opponents, Roberto Duran did it to Ray Leonard and the list goes on and on...

loud noises doesnt make a horror movie great. makes it very annoying. get rid of lazy/cheap movie makers (yappy promoters and trainers) and the genre will be better off !
