Sadly it's kind of a fact. They kept saying they didn't need Golovkin and that anyone they faced would net Canelo big money (which is true about the money). Them folding and giving GGG the cut of everything that they did showed they knew Canelo's image would take another big hit after the PED failed test then not making the rematch.
We'll see how he looks at the weigh-in this time with VADA testing him 4 months out (and year round) instead of 2 (which VADA doctors say is when a drug cheat will normally cycle off--the same time he got caught) and if those stamina issues that disappeared when the body started taking a different form a few years ago will return. Both guys can take a punch, but Golovkin isn't going to stop that pressure, so Canelo may tire this time.
