Kassim Ouma and Sechew Powell agree to fight in August!!

OUMA-POWELL AGREE TO TERMS FOR JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT SHOWDOWN!

Former IBF junior middleweight champion Kassim Ouma and undefeated junior middleweight up and comer Sechew Powell have agreed to terms for an intriguing junior middleweight showdown on August 5. Ouma-Powell will be the televised HBO co-feature to Forrest-Quartey fight that takes place at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on August 5. There is also a strong possibility that the Ouma-Powell fight winds up being a twelve round title elminator. More to follow.

great news.. another successful opponent for Ouma, should be a good fight with two of the top guys in the Light Middleweight division!!!

I'd rather see Ishe Smith give Powell the first L on his resume, but Ouma will do it instead, so it seems.

        Smith would challenge Ouma.

good to see ouma getting ready for a title shot and on hbo, after his win i'd like to see him call out winky and ask to the camera why winky ducked him and refused to give him a title shot.

HBO is definetely stepping it up this year. Nice job putting these two matches on the same night.

This could be a good fight but I see Ouma outworking Powell and basically doing what he always does to his opponents.

Ouma is capable of giving Powell his first loss. Smith isn't.

Powell is overrated and already has a gift decision on his record. You guys are just a bit misinformed to think Powell will challenge Ouma. He will not.

Ouma will wn this by TKO. Bet points.
