I’ve never seen so many articles trying to convince someone they are ready than this recent upcoming bout. That tells me this is a giant hype job and someone just may not be very ready

That's what I'm worried about. Besides Matthysse is looking at this with focused determination. This is the biggest fight of his career and he's wanted Pacquiao for five years now. Even if he's not the Matthysse of 3 years ago he's still a threat. Pacquiao obviously looked old in his Jeff Horn fight. I hope Pacquiao can eek out a victory here. Being a fan of his makes it hard to watch him take punishment at this stage in his career.

2 Quick questions to anyone who has ESPN+

          1) do they show repeats like bud vs horn, if you don't catch it live can u see repeats?

          2) are regular ESPN fights like the Gilberto Ramirez fight from last week also shown in ESPN+

Pac has aged and it gets harder to get into shape. If he looks really good now, some of his fight might stay in the gym. Father time comes from all angles.

so we're suppose to just believe that we will see the old manny?? where was the old manny in the horn fight? floyd fight? bradley fight? ..........

we will not see the old manny, you cant turn back the hands of time. once its out of you, you cant bring it back.. what we might see if a careless pac coming in recklessly. this is what buboy is referring too by saying we will see the old manny.

when pac got with roach, freddie calmed manny down a lot, and as time went by and pac became more washed up, his activity level started declining even more since freddie has calmed him down a lot so add that with age and you get the version of manny we see now.

the old manny buboy is referring too is telling pac to go out and keep attacking. which might backfire on them at this point in manny's career.

what's wrong with saying he's back? i mean look at most of the comments on here predicting lucas to ko manny. so if manny ends up winning, then heck yeah, he's back!

you cant make predictions like lucas will ko manny and then discredit manny when he beats lucas by saying lucas is washed up.

Freddie Roach has never hoped for a failure of a fighter since today, you know Roach hopes Manny looks like horse chit or falls against Lucas because if Pacquiao happens to look great in this fight it means Roach was an overrated trainer who Pac just showed loyalty too but did nothing for Manny

If Pac looks great against Lucas, all thsoe Trainers like Robert Garcia, Floyd Sr, and others who said Pacquiao trained himself and Roach hurt him more than helped would be justified when they said Manny never needed Roach it was Roach who needed Manny.
