Golden boy really had some audacity to think that they were just going to stick with that 65-35 split after everything that happened with the positive test and cancelation of the rematch. Good for ggg for sticking to his guns. I didn't think he'd get 45% but as he said, golden boy still makes more money off this fight than any other option.

You can often try it when taking your initial job offer. Businesses contact you with offers(given that you have decent credentials) because they need you and they are never going to offer you the highest they could. You can easily get a slight raise on that or better benefits by just talking. Tried and tested method.

Alvarez- easily more popular- still gets the lions share of the cash and I am sure other concessions. Golovkin gets a ton more than originally agreed to as compensation for the loss of the original rematch due to no fault of his own.

You should unload on the people who keep asking Golovkin/Sanchez/Canelo/DLH the same questions over and over again. They all simply answer the questions asked, then the responses get posted here, and people get triggered.

I guess if they could stop answering, but they all also realise they need to be promoting a fight, and talking to the press is kind of minimum standard.
