I have no doubt that Canelos and Gennady are taking this fight very personally

His pride is almost on another stratosphere compared to most athletes and borders on arrogance ( while I’m not a fan , I won’t knock that aspect of him , He truly wants and believes he is the greatest) Canelo believes that he is above criticism and Gennadys and Abel’s comments have probably infuriated him l, that’s probably why there is no face to face till fight week

Gennadys also taking this fight personally l, he believes and rightfully so that he was robbed in the first fight and that Canelo is a dirty fighter and cost him a strap . I mean he’s completely dropped the good boy routine and just giving his interviews in his native tongue and coming across as serious as f.uck

Hope both bring this energy when it comes to the rematch because if so it’s going to be fireworks. But if Canelo thinks he’s going to have a d.ick measuring contest and go toe to toe against Golovkin ( which is what GGg and Abel want ) he’s probably going to get f.ucked up because I don’t think there’s any MW that can go to war with Golovkin and survive the full 12

I think Canelo’s arrogance is what really turns fans off. He’s pretty much always been that way but it’s escalated since this Peds business. I think like him or not he certainly has the stuff elite fighters are made of sans the Peds use of course. Canelo would now be better served if he would quiet down and show what he can do in the ring against Golovkin.

Golovkin is rightfully annoyed with Canelo and interviews now in his expressive native language show it. And no matter how you feel about him, Golovkin is the king of the MW division. Top of the food chain, no mistake about it.

If a clean Canelo can beat him on September 15 he deserves all the props. Likewise if Golovkin is victorious.

Yeah but I wouldn’t put too much stock in slow ticket sales just yet, the fight is still months away.

... Canelo was very carefully managed by ODLH (I never put a bet against him, not even in that first fight vs GGG)...
