good fighter, im not hating but he needs to stop coming in with his head wide open inviting counter shots but im sure this will be corrected. he got power and one thing promoters ilke is that he already has a fan base, im sure he already has a top promoter, good fighter. is he armanian/american?

ya bro, Vanes was born in Armenia, moved to US in 1990.
He represented the USA in the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Promoter is Top Rank and Bob Arum
        Manager is Shelly Finkel
        Trainer is Freddie Roach

He is only (9-0, 6Kos) so far and of course learning alot along the way, but he does have alot of power behind his punch, great footwork and stamina.

            yup.

At the olympic trials when they ran the power tests(hitting a bag that shows how many pounds of strenght you have), Vanes was 2nd on the team, only a heavyweight hit harder than him.

Yeah, everything you guys are stating is in the correct.

I'm highly impressed with this guy, and I think he'll be a star.

Vanes has that look that kinda scares the **** out me for some reason. Even though I'm bigger than him he is kinda intimadating. He is like the power style version of Roy Jones Jr. because he knows how to evade opponents, I can see him being undisputed champion of the Light Middleweight division.

ya bro, big things are comin for Vanes and I just cant wait.

He is one of THE most promising boxers from the 2004 Olympic team along with his good friend Andre Ward.

Dont miss Vanes' August 12 fight on HBO PPV, undercard for Rahman vs Maskaev.

man I love this pic with the Armenian flag shorts. This was his 5th win I think at the Staples Center.
