  • Comments Thread For: Whyte: Referee Saved Parker From Knockout Loss To Joshua

Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte has taken some hard shots at his upcoming opponent, former world champion Joseph Parker. Parker suffered a twelve round decision loss in his March unification with Anthony Joshua, who walked away with the WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO world titles. Now Whyte, who was stopped by Joshua in 2015, is facing Parker on July 28, live on Sky Sports Box Office, at the O2 Arena in London.

Lol Whyte just mad he got knocked out. Parker had a good inside game and the ref wanted none of it..simple as that.

Whyte is already lined up for AJs next fight. Expect him to get a landslide victory on the cards for a razor thin fight.

The story will be that Wilder priced himself out of the fight, ducked Whyte and now Dillian beat the man who took AJ the distance he deserves the rematch.

Referee can not save a midget from Australian giant's cheap shot at FIBA. Can you imagine someone a foot taller than you hitting you while you are not even looking at him.

This is the first time I've heard of the idea Parker was or could have been koed by josh and that he was lucky or somehow given help to survive 12 rounds..?
But whythe seems like he's in awe of Josh or something. Shocked that Josh stopped him.

I actually agree with the "Parker was happy to lose" and "AJ was happy to pick up the win", That fight seemed like two people content with what was going on, Parker wasn't going to win but he wasn't going to get KO either (A win for him), and Joshua wasn't going to get troubled and he gets to pick up the third belt.
