Yup, Pendejo......oops.....Verdejo is done, stick a fork in him.

He was struggling badly and eventually got knocked out by the kind of guys that Cotto and Trinidad destroyed at the same level of their careers. That's all you need to know right there.

I also like Subriel Matias, Joseph Adorno and Manny Rodriguez. We'll see how these prospects develop.

it's not that he's not talented it's that he's mentally weak.

Mentally weak fighters can rise to the occasion too just as Victor Ortiz did with Berto.

Duran could have easily been labeled as weak after quitting against Leonard but sht happens.

All I know is Verdejo is exciting to watch when he is on point and he is still young. Everybody deserves a chance, even more than one...

Verdejo doesn't get it. A new conditioning coach isn't going to solve his problems.

He needs to get his ass back to Big Bear with Abel Sanchez and work on his boxing skills. Either that or hire some other trainer who can improve him technically.
