I can see why Haymon and Top Rank fighters aren't participating. The WBSS promoters want you to sell your soul to them. Jose Ramirez was never going to be in this tournament because Top Rank can't even be the lead promoter for his fights, they can't televise his fights, and the WBSS guys take most of the profits. They're getting free money by making themselves the only ones who can promote these fights, even with fighters they haven't developed and have no rights over, like Prograis At least in Regis case he's getting career high paydays, but with fighters from major non-WBSS promoters there is no incentive for their promoters to allow them to participate.

Lipinets either needs some HGH to compete with the likes of Mikey and Prograis at 140, or he needs to move to 135. His size and power is just not there for 140 right now, and remembering the likes of DSG and Matthysse who fought at 140 recently, even Khan, they were all so much bigger than Lipinets. He should be at 135.

Fighters get career high purses in each round. Promoters looking out for their interest instead of the fighters.
