Garcia by UD. Hatton maybe wins three rounds or so early on, but Mikey controls the distance, tempo and action with superior boxing ability.

IMO Garcia MD12 with Hatton making him walk through hell and potentially breaking that nose again.
People are quick to forget how strong prime hatton was. Floyd who is way bigger than him couldn’t get hatton easily off him for the first 5 rounds of their fight, he was muscling floyd. If not for that catlike reflexes, unmatched footspeed and defensive wizardry of Floyd he would be in trouble as well during that time or more so than he had.

Mikey is not big at 140, not powerful at 140 or atleast so far we know, his chin is not tested at 140.
Mikey is not athletic, he doesn’t have the footwork to run from bigger foes.

What he has is great boxing fundamentals, great timing and he fights with discipline.
He doesn’t overreach his opponents and he maintains his balance each time.

But the physicality of this fight will be more than his skills can overcome.

Hatton outweighs him by 15 plus bounds, muscles and wrestles him inside. And oh I guarantee you hatton can reach him.

Prime Hatton by KO unless he fights mikey on the outside and gives him enough space to breath. Then mikey will time him with good shots

Hatton at 140 was a different fighter to what people remember, he wasn’t as effective at welter. He was a swarming beast at 140, no way mike KO’s him, he would have to pull off a boxing masterclass and go up a level we have never seen before.

Remember, Garcia hasn’t had a definitive fight yet, Hatton beat Kostya into retirement, Mike hasn’t had a big 50/50 against a lb 4 lb

I would have to go for Hatton by stoppage. Hatton was much better at 140 than he was at 147. Did he even truly win a fight at 147? Most people thought Collazo beat him. If Mikey fought a prime Hatton he would be in a world of trouble because Hatton was rough, relentless and tough at 140. Mikey is an excellent fighter but he likes to fight at a slower pace. Broner allowed Garcia all the time in the world and didn't force the pace at all. Hatton would be the exact opposite.

Garcia went life and death with a kickboxer never hurting him(flash knockdown) and people think he stops a prime Hatton something a big puncher at Jr Welter Kostya Tszyu couldn't do.
