AJ does not want the Wilder fight

I realize there is a lot of back and forth between the teams as to who wants the fight.

Listen, when AJ turned down the most lucrative deal in heavyweight history. it became clear he does not *want this fight.Eddie Hearns has been proactive in damage control mode (thus quite a few interviews), but unless you allow Eddie Hearns to do your thinking for you, it's obvious AJ does not want this fight. At least right now. Had he really want it, he would have given the WBA the business and let them know is wants to fight Wilder next.

However, he's turned down the biggest purse in heavyweight boxing;s history, and Eddie was the one who told Team Wilder..."It's too late now. We've already signwd with Povetkin for AJ's next fight. We are willing to fight you after Povetkin.

    These are facts.

Its obvious Wilder really wants it.

AJ does not. Zero emotion about it from him.

He turned the offer down because he wanted to defend his belts in England not Alabama. If the offer was 50 million with the fight taking place in England he would have accepted. That home country advantage means a lot to bother boxers. Wilder refused to go to England to fight AJ for 15 million. Does that mean Wilder doesn't want to fight? AJ doesn't want or need the fight as bad as Wilder but Wilder still doesn't want the fight bad enough to accept AJ's counter offer. If AJ did not want to fight he would just say so and send no contract at all.

Absolutely, anyone with even half a brain can see that AJ isn't confident when it comes to Wilder!

I'm now hearing that AJ didn't know that the Wilder fight isn't happening and he thought it was surefire to happen and that Edwards Hearns paid off Team PEDvetkin and the WBA Gilberto Mendoza to stall team Wilder!

They said AJ isn't happy with Edwards Hearns and could be gearing up.for a tell all interview soon!

I'm not buying it, i think he knew all along and it's just damage control cuz mostly everyone see's him as a coward!

Most definitely their actions aren’t showing confidence.

So your honestly telling me having home advantage is better than 50 million dollars guaranteed plus more??

That doesn't make sense and it's not good business sense at all, this is coming from the man that says he wants to be like Floyd Mayweather in terms of earning potential!

Just face the music, the clues and evidence is out there if you actually mute Edwards Hearns rhetoric out your mind and open your eyes and ears!

What type of heavyweight champion declines his own demand? AJ DEMANDED 50 million and that he sweared he would sign, he knows the money is real!

Just like you AJ fangirls, AJ is allowing Edwards Hearns to rob him of his common sense and conscience!

Lots of fans have turned on AJ for this and he has no one but himself to blame!

              Biggest coward in boxing history

Hearn 'lowballs' Wilder with $15m flat rate to get better deal for himself and Joshua.

                Wilder publically accepts.

Hearn sends contract mirroring the terms Wilder accepted.

Finkel announces (why?) it will be 11 days until a contract is returned, without specifying if it's signed.

Finkel knows the WBA are pressuring Joshua to fight his mandatory every day with it being due 2 months ago.

Hearn sabotages his own great deal for Joshua to fight Wilder to make a Povetkin fight for similar risk and lower reward.

                Makes sense?

Only in the brains of demented Wilder fanboys.

Without being able to read minds it's hard to say whether the fight didn't happen in part because Joshua didn't want it or because Hearn has him leashed too tightly. I'm inclined to think it's the latter because it's become clear that Eddie's become a control freak to an almost neurotic degree, but it's not like there's hard evidence disproving the former either, besides his comment "let's roll" in response to the 50 mil offer (which IIRC is the last major input from the Matchroom side that came from Joshua and not Hearn.)

I do wonder if Joshua's confidence has taken a hit, in the Parker interview that went up yesterday Parker made comments to the effect that he felt like his trash talk and mental warfare in the leadup had an effect. I wonder if between delivering a couple of slightly shaky and unconvincing performances and constant trash talk from a very brash and confident Wilder, he could be having doubts.
