If you do a press release about ignoring something, you aren't really ignoring it, now are you?

Like most sound bites on here, they are normally a reply to a question from media. Not sure how this still seems to get missed by people

It's like when you get multiple sound bites from a fighter/trainer/promoter over a week, which is clearly from one interview but broken up and released over consecutive days. They do it to bring consistent news and traffic to the site, and you just see posters start getting feelings over it. They are essentially getting trolled because they don't understand. It's actually amusing and pretty dumb.

Donkey just LOVES getting media attention and talking over training. Thats why GGG looked like Hellen Keller throwing wild punches and missing 500 times last time. GGG is just training himself now days.

I think the animosity between both camps is genuine but at the same time Sanchez is trying to lure Canelo in to a fight. It might just get to Canelo by the time fight night rolls around. Eventually you snap after someone presses your buttons too much.

Sanchez handles the current Middleweight Champion of the World
he has trained and handled many World Champions for some time now. His current fighter GGG does NOT speak english well enough for "sound bites" to promote the fight and maintain interests!
Canelo also has problems with his promo of the fight so Oscar takes the lead in the American speaking market!

Why is this so difficult to understand?
The riff between the camps stems from Canelo talking sh*! prior to the first fight about stopping GGG.
He tried to out box him and in my opinion just fell short by using to much lateral movement and not enough taking control and
forcing the action.
Now Canelo is saying the same thing again and once again it becomes the "selling point" of the match up!

Abel is just taking the lead, if he didn't have to he wouldn't!

He is a good man who has business success outside of the sport and his methodology is to try and stop the opponent.
The guy has been very successful in boxing for many years now!

Nice post!....I guess Oscar is pretty much just "taking the lead" also with his KO tough talk. "BS promo" does work - and can work some of the time - so why not use it?

Golovkin is a now past prime fighter that was good at what he did in his heyday, but being that he's not as good as he was, Canelo does have the advantage, so Abel MUST "talk" to lure Canelo into the once stabilized den of Golovkins pressure fighting - their past bread & butter so to speak.

Like u said these head games are essential and a big part of psyching out in boxing......If you don't use it, youre not taking full advantage of what youre entitled to - for good "financial" reason also. Good post.

Canelo should change to Donkey meat instead of that tainted Mexican Beef that allowed him to survive 12 rounds with GGG and then test positive twice when he didn’t know that the testing would start earlier for the rematch because Abel insisted on it starting as soon as possible. There was a lot of speculation why Canelo was so big in the first fight, Sanchez saw that and knew something was up, similar body change to Vargas or Mosley. Canelo got popped and is pissed off, he thought he was safe in Mexico. Now he won’t have that advantage of those Mexican Vitamins for the rematch. He might move even more than the first fight as he knows he can’t fight with GGG like he tries to tell his Mexican fans. They want to see action, not running, so Canelo is stuck
