Degale wants to cash out against Groves or Eubank Jnr.

Can't really blame him, his body cannot take many more fights, so he may as well get well paid for whatever he has left.

He lacks heart and i've never liked him. I cant blame him for wanting a final big cashout fight though. He is the one getting punched in the head after all. But lets never forget this shameful move will forever be a stain on his fighting (so called) legacy.

Fans wanting it to be a duck because they want to be one of the cool kids and use a throwaway term, doesn't make it right.

Uzcategui has a extensive amateur record, earned his spot as a foreigner in Mexico, not easy and has looked like a world class beater since his
            Loss to Korobov.

Uzcategui who is only getting better is easily better than Badou Jack, Rogelio Medina and Truax, all of which DeGale went life and death with.

Clearly a duck, and DeGale loses much props from
Me, though he didn’t have any to begin with as far as I’m concerned. DeGale and none of them Brit 168 pounders convince me. They all scrubs, including Groves IMO.

Lol it’s not just fans. There’s literally an article on boxing scene that says “James degale: sometimes the duck is the right thing”

I do not blame him for doing what he’s doing. I even said I understand why he’s doing it but that doesn’t mean he isn’t ducking the fight.

How else would you describe vacating your title to avoid a fight?

The only good fighter he got in the ring with he lost to. And Korobov isn't any great shakes.

No, he isn't anywhere near as good as Jack. So don't try and lie to yourself.

Degale looked shot against Truex, so I really wouldn't read too much into those fights. When the time comes, it comes. Nothing you can do to try and hold on to your prime.

If Degale is fighting a much better fighter who is more proven, then that's the right decision to make. Plus, it brings the money in which isn't the case with Uzcategui. To think fighters should take on lesser foes for less money is nothing short of backwards. We should encourage fighters to take on bigger tests, not fight nobodies for pennies.

Degale and Groves are more proven than Uzcategui, so if they're scrubs, Uzcategui is not even worthy of being called a scrub.

How else would I describe it? Smart.

He's only got a few fights left. Does he get punched in the face by fighter A for X amount of dollars, or punched in the face by fighter B for more?

"Duck" is used way too often and *******ly. A duck is when the focus is on the fighter being avoided - different scenario to the focus being on the better option. DeGale cares about the better option more than he cares about NOT fighting the other guy.
