Comments Thread For: George Groves Discusses Haye, Eubank Jr, Smith, DeGale

WBA Super Middleweight champion George Groves (28-3, 20 KOs) says he has two or three big fights left in his career beyond the World Boxing Super Series. The 30-year-old Londoner will face 28-year-old Callum Smith (24-0, 17 KOs) in the final of the 168lbs tournament which began on September 16, 2017 when Smith, the number two seed, won his quarter final against Sweden's Erik Skoglund with a wide points decision victory.

I hope DeGale gets good again but he looks ravaged. Maybe he should move up to LHW and go in the WBSS for that

Groves has gone from playing the villain to anti-hero. Boxing fairy tale, made up for him though!

The interesting thing here is that the WBC have ordered Benavidez to fight the Groves/Smith winner (which is only right) yet mandate him to fight Anthony Dirrell. All said & done the WBSS was designed to sort this mess out, but Zurdo took the easy way out! "Ramerez/DeGale works best for me next"!!..............
